My name is Angela Ying and I am a 20 year old junior at Brigham Young University in Provo, UT. I am a public health major on the health promotion track and a nonprofit organization management minor. This blog is for my HLTH 332 class, Technology in Health Promotion, and its purpose is to inform others about the work that nonprofit organizations do and to make people more aware of the problems in society today. I am very interested in the work that nonprofits do, especially those that focus on drug/alcohol addiction and mental health, and I hope to work in the nonprofit world after I graduate from BYU.
